Solidarity refers to the unity of people that produces or is based on a community of common interests, standards and objectives. Transnational solidarity is defined as a relation of mutual support or recognition between partners that share the same goal in order to fulfill a shared political project by any type of transnational public power. It connects movements across large spans of space and time.
